Tour Championship + Shamrock Cocktail Recipe

I have been going to the Tour Championship for years and love it. This year was no exception. Look at the progression of all three years! (2015, 2016) This year, my sister, my mom, and I went down early Sunday and spent the day watching the final round of the Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club.

Of course, this year was even better because #21. The Shamrock is the signature cocktail of the Tour Championship and was to-die-for. Shamrocks are an insignia of East Lake and were all over the course as a subtle "tip of the cap" to golfing legend Bobby Jones, whose home course was East Lake and always carried a gold shamrock in his pocket.

- 1 1/2 parts Grey Goose® Cherry Noir
- 2 parts Limeade
- Splash of Cherry Lemon-Lime Soda
- Garnish with Lime and Cherry

I love watching golf as much as I do playing it. With it being September, the weather was just perfect, if not a little too hot. I could really go for that right about now as I sit and type this in 45-degree weather. I went for comfort over style this year and wore "athleisure". Literally hate myself for using that word, but I don't know a better way to describe it. I am usually huge advocate of golf attire even when spectating.. that means a collar and a shirt neatly tucked in. It was a one-time thing, don't worry. Even our mom was rocking the athleisure. Comfort over style that day, for sure. Can't wait until next year!
