I've been wearing this outfit a lot lately... and really have always loved this simple, classic ensemble. I throw a field jacket on over almost everything. No joke. I think it adds a bit of structure (and warmth) to any outfit. Not to mention layering is perfect for Georgia weather where it's 15 degrees one day and 75 degrees the next. It works in a multitude of ways depending on how you accessorize.
I got this white top last summer, and I wear it maybe once a week. I love it. I'm still trying to get some wear out of my white clothes other than in spring/summer. If you pair it with a dark jacket, it works! The scalloped layering at the bottom is adorable and dresses up an outfit. It's sleeveless which is perfect for any season, so it is very versatile.
A white blouse and a field jacket are absolute staples. I have two field jackets from J.Crew in olive and navy. The olive field jacket is on major sale right now... totally worth it. I get so much wear out of them!
Last but not least, my shoes! I got my first use of these Ralph Lauren wedges. I fell in love with them at the store. I'm usually not a huge wedge-shoe person, but I love the versatility of these. Not to mention they are as comfortable as wearing flats.. and under $100!
