I have had a lot of reasons to dress up lately. Whether it be for an internship interview, a conference, or a presentation, my usual 'college' attire won't cut it. With another conference coming up later this week, I thought I would share one of my go-to dressier outfits.
A tweed skirt and a classic oxford are dressy staples. I love that this skirt has just a little bit of sparkle, and the tweed material makes it perfect for the fall. The heavy weight and luxe texture are perfect for this time of year. The similar one I linked is 40% off at J.Crew, making it a major steal! Just in time for all of the holiday parties. It's a great piece for right now, but I will definitely pair it with some black tights when the temps drop.
I have a few white button-downs but this one is my favorite. A lot of oxfords are made of a thin material, but this one's thicker, so it's perfect for the chillier days. It's a great interview/work look, but I also can dress it down with a pair of loafers and a more casual top.
How have you been dressing for the warmer than usual weather? Have a fabulous day!
