The Ocean Course

On our last day at Kiawah Island, we had breakfast at The Ryder Cup Bar on the famous Ocean Course. You know, the one where the PGA Championship was held? Yeah, that one. I was pretty excited to say the least. I played the Ocean Course a few years ago in terrible, terrible weather; however, this time, the weather couldn't have been any better!

Sunny and 75 degree weather with a slight breeze. Eating a smoked salmon bagel & hot chocolate. Overlooking the 18th green and the Atlantic Ocean. Life is so good. The food was great, but the view overshadowed it all. The restaurant features a wrap-around porch and full-length windows that give a panoramic view of the ocean and the course, allowing you to watch sunrises and sunsets. Nothing blocks the view - just an endless expansion of the horizon. It is the perfect place to unwind after a loooong and stressful semester.
