Mother's Day is an extra special time to appreciate our moms and everything that they do for us. I know I
'm extremely grateful for my mom. I don't know how she puts up with so much of my sass! We were going to go out to lunch to celebrate, but with my family being the procrastinators we are, it was either wait for 3 hours to get a reservation or cook. SO... my sisters and I ended up baking her a Mother's Day brunch featuring: Sirloin Steaks, Fresh Green Beans, Strawberry Pecan Salad, Parmesan Risotto, Honey Croissants, and of course, peach cobbler. Mmmmm! It was totally thrown together at the last minute, but we ended up having fun and pulling it off! I decorated the table, of course, (because my sisters have absolutely NO creative bones in their bodies--love you guys, but it's true), and they cooked the food. Sooo much more meaningful and memorable than a restaurant.
