Rainy Day Chic!

Spring weather can be so unpredictable. Where I live, I can be in a sundress one day and a winter coat the next. Today was just a gloomy, rainy day, but while everybody else was miserable and soaking wet, I was comfortable AND fashionable. Some of my favorite clothing is built for the rain. Regardless of the forecast, you always have to look your best. You never know what you might do or who you might run into. Just because you can't puddle-jump in a flashy skirt doesn't mean you have dress like a hobo when the weather takes a turn for the worst.

A part of being "fashionable" is dressing appropriately for the situation and the weather.

For today's rainy-day post, I compiled some cute rainy day accessories and outfit ideas to turn the day from drab to fab. They say April showers bring May flowers, so I'm sure today's weather will make quite a few appearances during the next couple of months.

Dressing for rain sometimes means avoiding wearing "nice" clothes for the fear of water damage, but adding a few fun and bright accessories to outfits can help brighten the day. Below are some outfit ideas that will fit anybodies style...from chic to fun to preppy! With so many cute rain clothes, you'll be secretly wanting it to rain more often!

You don't have to sacrifice style for comfort, even in extreme weather conditions. These outfits will brighten even the dreariest of days. I personally LOVE the Kate Spade "Rain Check" Umbrella, the Seafolly Toggle Jacket, and the Gray Hunter boots!

Rain has never looked so good!
