I have to say, Frozen was one of THE cutest Disney movies in a long time. I know, I know, aren't I a little old to be watching animated movies? No. You are never too old for a good Disney movie. I didn't think I would like it at first, but my older sister had insisted that we see it because she had heard awesome reviews about it. I thought it would be another one of those quick produced animated movies that flopped, such as Epic and Turbo. So on New Year's Day, me, my dad, and my sisters decided to see it, in 3D of course, and we loved it! The trailer didn't do it justice, and while it is geared towards children, I couldn't help but sing along. I found myself laughing out loud in the theater. I went into it with low expectations, doubting that it could top Tangled or Cars. I was impressed. While it could never beat the classics such as The Little Mermaid or Cinderella, the movie did exceed my expectations and was a refreshing experience from all of the other current animated movies.
It was a cute story and had catchy songs. I mean, how could it not be superb when you have a cast of Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel. Both have been on Broadway and their singing was absolutely phenomenal.
If you are like me and still have a little bit of a 6-year-old side as well as a love for Disney, I would highly recommend seeing this movie. It was cute and actually had a good plot line. I grew up with Aladdin and Mulan, you know, the classics, and to this day I still watch them.
I guess I'm just a sucker for a good musical and love story!
